John Dilworth
ZACHER, Maximilian Worked circa. 1730-1745 Wroclaw (Breslau) Poland. Not known by whom he was taught. Henley describes violins and violas with high arch, some having carved children’s heads, and golden yellow varnish. Vannes cites only viola d’amores and viola da braccias, one of the former in the Berlin Music museum dated 1730.
