John Dilworth

Charles (I) Born 1645, died 1718. Son of Gérard Trévillot, below. Significant early French maker with technical similarities to the Médard school. Small Amatisé model high pinched arching. Long corners with very small internal pine blocks. Long and sloping soundholes. Single stripe of black purfling. Head crudely carved, without fluting on the back, similar to Testore.
