SCHUBERT, Richard Born 1872 Markneukirchen Germany, Worked from 1910 San Francisco, California USA. Violin and bow maker. Pupil of O. Dölling. Worked in Koblenz for O. Migge, and in Vienna for Karl Zach. Briefly in London before moving to the USA. Established in San Francisco from 1910. Over 200 violins and a several cellos completed.
