John Dilworth

RITTER, Paul (I) Born 1867, d. after 1938 Schöneck Germany. Violin and bow maker. Pupil of Neumärker. Established independently in Adorfstrasse from 1887. Copyist of classical Italian instruments. Good reputation as a repairer and restorer. Inventor of the ‘Reformgitarre’ which is self-supporting and relieves the player’s left hand.
