REINERT, Robert Born 1882 Hagen, Weisenthal Germany, d. after 1930 La Chaux-de-Fonds Switzerland. Apprenticed at Leistal 1912. Established in La Chaux-de-Fonds from 1925. Designed machine tools for violin production. Credited with 400 instruments made mechanically. Exhibited at Geneva 1927. Well received at the time.
