Sebastian (III) Worked circa. 1742 Chomutov & from 1753 Wroclaw Poland. Son of Thomas Rauch, below. Violins and cellos known. High arched Amati or Stainer model with broad edge flute. Small corners. Very small volute. Good materials but almost impenetrably dark brown varnish or thin golden-yellow over a stained ground.
