LIEBICH, Johann Gottfried Born 1752, died 1824, Worked Wroc?aw (Breslau) Poland. Pupil of Sebastian Rauch in Wroc?aw. Established independently there from 1789. Also made harps. Stradivari- and Amati-derived models. Fine workmanship and materials. Varnishes: golden-brown to orange-red. Johann Gottfried Liebich / Geigen- Lauten- und Harfenmacher / In Breslau 1791
