John Dilworth
LEVIEN, Julius Born 1862 Elbing Germany, died 1935 Brussels Belgium. Doctor of medicine. Learned violin making with Fischesser-Cholet in Paris from 1894. Made a particular study of acoustics and varnishes. Active in Berlin c.1900-1912, and exhibited a quartet there 1912.
