BEEBE, Byron E. Born 1864, Worked Franklin Park, Illinois & Muskegon, Michigan USA. Active in Franklin Park, Illinois from 1904, and in Muskegon, Michigan from 1910. Personal model, and copies of classical instruments. Shaded gold- or red-brown varnish of his own make. Credited with up to 300 instruments, some of which may have been imported from Germany in part-finished state. Some branded ‘Beebe’ on the back. Signed directly on the wood internally. Bryon E.
