John Dilworth

PALLOTTA, Pietro Worked circa. 1783-1820 Perugia Italy. Active in Turin and Perugia. Personal model. Full arching; medium height but sometimes somewhat pinched, with strong edge flute. Long soundholes widely set and sometimes quite slanted across the face. Volute rather small; very neatly cut. Materials variable but generally plain and locally sourced. Golden-yellow to dark chocolate brown varnish. Manuscript labels: Jo.
