John Dilworth
MASETTI, Carlo Born circa. 1915 Florence Italy. Presumably the brother of Renzo Masetti, below, with whom he made guitars in Modena. Vannes gives his birth date as 1915. Henley states that he was active in Florence, c.1915-1920 and cites a violin label of 1920. Stradivari-derived model. Generally undeveloped and poor workmanship with plain materials.
