GLAESEL, Carl Wilhelm Born 1770, died 1855 Markneukirchen Germany. Admitted to the Markneukirchen guild 1792. Said to have worked for Thir in Vienna; also active in Berlin. Fine work and choice of materials; typical Tyrolean style with medium height Stainer type arching, but rather ordinary brown varnish.
