ZANTI, Alessandro Worked circa. 1765-1820 Mantua Italy. Possibly a descendant of Antonio Zanotti, above. Henley, following Vannes, describes instruments combining Pietro Guarneri and Stradivari features but with poor brown varnish. Work presently unknown and unverified. Alexander Zanti fecit / Manyuae Anno 1819
