SEELOS, Johann Georg Born circa. 1647, died 1724 Innsbruck Austria. Son, pupil, and successor of Georg Seelos, above. Choir master of the Chapel Royal in Innsbruck from c.1673. Working as a luthier from 1679; gained his licence 1681. Suffered from ill-health from 1690. Some instruments made 1696-1700 but by 1711 he was restricted to hospital. [Bletschacher]
