John Dilworth

SCHUNDA, Josef Born 1818 Sibrin Czech Republic, d. after 1871 Budapest Hungary. Worked for J. Nagy in Budapest from 1842. Succeeded to his business 1847 and founded a factory for instrument making the following year. Member of the Budapest instrument makers guild from 1848. Assisted in the management of the business by his brothers Wenzel Josef and Franz, below. All kinds of musical instruments manufactured. Violins on Stradivari model of a large form.
