RYMWID-MICKIEWICZ, Jozef Born 1869 Vitebsk Belarus, died 1940 Warsaw Poland. Pupil of V. I. Ivanov and worked for Geisser in St. Petersburg. Established independently in Odessa from 1897; finally moved to Warsaw 1925. Awarded gold medal at Antwerp Exhibition 1894. Guarneri and personal models with low arch and very meagre yellow or orange varnish. Jozef Rymwid-Mickiewicz / Robil w Odessie. R 1
